The rumor is that while filming "Sex and the City" in Los Angeles, Matthew Broderick cheated on SJP with a 25 year old, red head youth counselor that he met at a bar in New York City. She has apparently given him the nickname "Matty Cakes." I feel so sorry for Sarah Jessica Parker if in fact this rumor is true.
The married couple have been on record saying that things haven't always been the best in their marriage.. as a matter of fact SJP was quoted as saying "I'm happy to be with him regardless but I'm sure there are many times he wishes he wasn't with me."
A friend of the 25 year old apparently has told everyone that Matthew and the mistress showed up at her house one night wasted and then went into her bedroom for a half an hour, then Matthew came out and said goodbye while her friend fell asleep in just her underwear.
I don't know if I believe all this but hopefully it's not true for poor SJP.
Men are such jerks after all...
