Twilight Movie Review

Twilight - A Must See?

I went to the movies this weekend and I saw "Twilight", the new vampire crazed movie.

I sat down in the seats at the movie theatre and I immediately knew that this was going to be a teen movie.

Every seat was full of teen girls that couldn't stop hooting and screaming through the whole movie when Robert Pattison came on the screen.

I thought it was an ok movie.  I mean, if I was 16 or 17 again I probably would have liked the movie a whole lot more.

There were parts where I wanted it to speed up a bit and other parts I wished would never end.  Over all the entire movie was super cheesy but I think it was meant to be that way.

The movie was good overall because the acting was great but a little too wishy washy for my taste.  But I guess "Twilight" was made for teenage girls so they probably loved it.

When Robert Pattison (Edward Cullen) first appeared on the screen all the teenage girls in the audience completely freaked out.  I couldn't understand what they saw in him at first but as the movie progressed I wished that he would bite the blood out of my neck.

Edward had a lot of powers in the movie but were unfortunately only shown for a few minutes out of the whole movie.  If that was showcased a little more that would have been a lot more entertaining.

All of Edward's family "The Cullens" played a huge part of the movie too.  Every part of the cast was perfectly picked out.  The casting director did a fabulous job.

Kristen Stewart was also in the movie.  She played Bella Swan and Edward's love interest in the film and she did a great job.  Her lips and her skin looked absolutely beautiful and looked like she was a vampire herself.

I wish that the film would have been scarier or funnier.  It was kind of stuck in the middle in my opinion and I didn't know quite what to make of it most of the time.  Parts of the film where it was suppose to be serious I found actually quite funny because it was a little too dramatic.

Overall I would recommend seeing it but it would probably be a renter flick.

Have you seen the movie?  If so what did you think about it?

Have you read the series and if you have read the book and seen the movie which one do you like better?
