Get Your Life Back

Don't let me fool you into thinking that I know what I'm talking about.

I am as new to this as you are.

I have decided to change my life.

I have been grasping for anything to give me inspiration.

I seemed to be bored of the same ol' life I had.  Most of the time I was so bored I slept.

I recently split from my boyfriend of 5 years.

It was the worst feeling I have ever felt.  I thought the world would never be the same.

But I am slowly learning how to find out who I am.

The steps I am taking are slow but I can defiantly share  what I am going through in hopes that it may help you.

I have started a diet.  It's called "The 17 Day Diet" by Dr. Mike Moreno.  So far I have read 155 pages in two days and my first day of diet and exercise was today.

I didn't cheat.

I actually got myself out of bed this morning and did the damn 17 minute work out DVD that I purchased with the book from

What got me in the mood to get motivated was my weekend out at a local club.  Not one guy looked my way the whole night.  It was like I was having an outer body experience and I was looking at my fat self.

I simply got so tired of not fitting into my jeans, my ankles swelling, my face being chubby etc. etc..  that I have decided to live my life healthier.

I told myself to stop sitting around thinking that I have the worst life out of everybody on earth.   A good friend told me that it seriously could always be worse.

I have done a lot of soul searching lately and I have come to find out that I completely lost myself quite a few years ago.

It's time to get our lives back!

Sitting around being sad all the time does not help anything.

It only makes you feel pathetic and unsociable which is the exact opposite of how you should be living your life.  Try to find things that inspire you.

What were you born to do?  All of us were born on this earth to make some kind of difference.

It's time to find out what your purpose is and you have a whole lotta time to figure it out.

Go to the nearest library and pick a book about hobbies that you would enjoy doing but never had the time to do before.

Take your dog out for a walk or listen to some music as that has really helped me as of lately.

Do something different with your hair or go and buy yourself something that you wouldn't normally wear.  Be who you truly are for a while just to see how it feels.

Let me tell you ... so far it feels wonderful.

Now go and do something that makes you feel happy and comment below about it!  Remember that no one will love you unless you love yourself so hurry up and start the process already.
